As a result, we began providing premise‐based business telephone systems that utilized these new technologies. Shortly thereafter, we became one of the early entries into the Hosted VoIP marketplace, adopting the latest technology once again. This new technology, known as Hosted PBX or Cloud‐based PBX service, allowed us to provide all the features demanding businesses wanted without requiring the purchase and maintenance of equipment in the telephone closet. Additionally, it enabled our clients to achieve remarkable savings on their monthly telephone communications budget.
